Enjoy amazing panoramic views of the fjords below as well as a look over the other side of the pass when you reach the top!

From the Hotel Flokalundur, drive north/west up Highway 60. The parking area for the trailhead is difficult to discern from the road, but will be on your right after crossing over 3 rivers; its about a 10 minute drive from the Hotel.

From the parking area, the first trail marker is just off to the right. Begin your hike by climbing over the small rocky hill close to the parking area. Continue through the mossy, rocky terrain for approximately 1 mile, where you will need to find a way across a few small streams.

From there, you will continue onto rockier terrain and need to cross several steep snow fields to reach the peak. Follow cairns to the end of the trail; from there you will be able to see the other side of the mountain, as well as a panoramic view of the fjords below.
