Fish the West End of Roatan

The waters around Roatan and the Meso-American Reef are some of the healthiest fisheries in the Caribbean, full of big game fish, snapper, permit, and large schools of yellowfin, blackfin, and ahi tuna.

Trolling, drift, and outrigger fishing are all excellent options along the West End particularly as you reach the western end of the island and a strong upwelling from the current makes for excellent feeding grounds. 

As always, numerous fishing charters are available of all sizes and you can even pick up a small boat from the watertaxi dock in town to take you out for a short trip.
