Natural Adventure in Playalinda
Brevard County, Florida
Description
Added by Gidder Zelaya
This is one of Florida best spots to experience the beach as it should be experienced. Natural and wild. It lacks modern amenities like restaurant, bars, and other services, so be prepared for a true beach day. This spot is part of Canaveral National Seashore. You can sunbathe, hike, swim, surf, and on less windy days paddleboard into the ocean for encounters with sea turtles, dolphins, and also sharks. Be aware the far end of the Seashore is clothing optional.

After first entering Canaveral National Seashore, this is the stop of many hiking options in the park. We walked in toward Mosquito Lagoon and found three well spaced picnic tables and two paths.A path along the lagoon that is well marked to preserve the ecology. We tried this one but it was flooded only twenty five feet in (maybe because it was high tide?)An ascending board walk that took us ...
