Description

Fletcher Creek is an easy, relatively quiet, and scenic hike for those with an appreciation for fen plant communities – or the rarest type of wetland in Ontario, Canada. Along your hike you will encounter wide pathways, canopies of deciduous and conifer trees, a lovely creek, and the crown jewel of the experience: an abandoned quarry that features interpretive signs and a boardwalk along one edge. Keep your eyes peeled for leopard frogs, snakes, and a variety of other small mammals, such as groundhogs, foxes and bats.
Leashed dogs welcomed.
Parking is $7.50/day - small parking lot located at trailhead.
Overflow parking is available on the street.
