Description

Added by Abby MacGillivray

This hike is located 15 minutes outside of Thunder Bay and is a great short hike. The forest is dog friendly and the trails are well-beaten.

Beginning on a left turn off of John Street Road onto Community Hall Road, this 4 km loop trail takes you past unique scenery, such as a beaver dam. Be sure to watch for other wildlife as there are usually some to be found. Once past the open area, take the small bridge on the left to begin looping around. About halfway through the loop, there is a bench to take a rest on. Continue the loop to return to the straight stretch and head back to the lot.
