Camp at Harrison Lake, West Side
Harrison Mills, British Columbia
Description
Added by Emily Masse
Harrison Lake has a private drive in beach with turquoise water perfect for swimming.
Set up camp, and unwind. Harrison Lake is becoming one of my favourite places in the lower mainland for camping. Whether it's for one night, or the weekend, this is the perfect spot. Along the west Harrison FSR you will find numerous truck trails that lead to beachfront, drive in campsites. It's turquoise lake is cool, but wildly refreshing on a hot summer day. This area is perfect for quadding, dirt biking, or hiking.
The best spots are past 20 mile bay (which is around the 35km mark). I find the further up the logging road you go, the quieter it gets, however, the road gets quite rough past 20 mile bay, I would recommend a 4x4.
