The north coast of Haida Gwaii is simply stunning. Wildlife and beautiful landscapes are all along the road. North Beach is one of the best kept secret spot for surfing in North America. The short hike to the lookout of Tow Hill trough the wild rainforest is amazing.

Starting from the town of Masset, there is only one gravel road to access to Tow Hill. This road is well maintained but I you don't have a car it's a pretty long walk. The beach start from the village of Masset but the hill is located more than 20 km east from the town. If you get lucky while you are hitch hiking you can find a ride.
