Description

Pincushion Peak is a fun hike for a spontaneous adventure with friends. It's located near Friant, CA, and features Millerton Lake. It's easy, with beautiful views, only about 30 min away from Fresno. The water is a little low now because of the drought, but at the top, you still get an awesome view of Millerton Lake and Table Mountain Reserve.

Head North on Friant Rd. It will begin to head East, becoming Millerton Rd. Stay on Millerton Rd for 4.2 mi. Turn left onto Sky Harbor Rd (street JUST before Table Mountain Casino). Follow Sky Harbor Rd for 5.8 miles to the end of the road. Parking is available along the road. There are port a potties available. There are multiple trails. Depending which trail you decide to take, you can add additional mileage to this hike (going up to Table Mountain (locked gate), or continuing on to the lake itself.
