Only a mile hike and you can see the hills for miles once you are on top. It is a bluff in the middle of the Ouchitas overlooking most of the wilderness. Here is a link to a video that shows the top of the bluff and the surrounding area, https://vimeo.com/149121921

You can park on the gravel road by the trail head. Keep following that trail up for about half a mile then you will get to the top. Easy hike and well worth it! You can camp on top too if you like. Half way up the hike there is a couple of benches and fire pit. that is where you can camp for the night if you wish to.. This place is about 45 min east of Little Rock, Arkansas. It is in the middle of the Ouchitas so if you have a clear sky you can see the milky way.Directions: Flatside Pinnacle Access: From Perryville, head south on AR Hwy9/Hwy 10 for about x miles to FR#132, which is also the Winona Auto Tour Route, and Turn Left. Go approx. 8.3 miles (staying Right at 3.3 miles, then keeping Straight through a 4-way intersection at 4.2 miles), and then Turn Right onto FR#94/CR#53. Follow this road as it turn north for approx. 2.9 miles to the parking area on your Left.
