Photograph and take in the scenic views of 50 miles of Lake Powell shoreline to Rainbow Bridge National Monument.

This amazing trip to one of the largest natural bridges in the world, Rainbow Bridge National Monument, begins at the Lake Powell Marina. Catch your ride at Lake Powell Resort at the Wahweap Marina. This tour the lake for a couple of hours until you reach a narrow canyon. The 50+ foot boat will maneuver through the tight squeeze until you reach the dock.

Once unloaded the real fun begins. Enjoy this 275' Natural Bridge after a 1.25 mile fairly easy trail. Pack a lunch with you and just soak in the views. This land is sacred to the Navajo Tribe so tread lightly.

After a couple of hours it is time to return to the dock and enjoy a beverage from the boats galley.

Due to lake levels, the hike may be shorter or longer. The total tour time of Boat and Hike is about 7-8 hours. This trip will save those who do not have the gear nor the endurance to do the overnight hike to the bridge. There is no other way to get to the bridge other than boat or a hike.

Make sure to pack sunscreen and plenty of water as there is very little shade in the canyon.

There is a fee to take this excursion and more on that can be found here.
