At sunset there lies a stunning vista looking back over Mount Prevost. Also, if you are into getting up early, head there for sunset to capture the early morning light over the marina.

There is a reason the town of Cowichan Bay is a popular destination for visitors and locals alike. The town boasts stunning views across the bay, of the Cowichan River estuary, the beautiful marina, and has a variety of restaurants, a candy shop and bakery. Start off by grabbing a bite to eat at one of the amazing local restaurants. For desert, grab some ice cream at the candy shop. Afterwards, consider grabbing some local baked goods for later. Then, take a walk through the marina and check out all the cool boats. Next, walk back towards the estuary to find the lookout tower where you can take in all the amazing sights. After that, follow the waters edge and get creative with your camera and come up with some stunning seascapes. There is a reason the locals are always returning, because the atmosphere is irresistible!
