Marmot Rock Campground is home to incredible views and plentiful activity options.
Located on the Courtright Reservoir, Marmot Rock Campground is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The Courtright Reservoir is great for boating and fishing. Trails access John Muir Wilderness, perfect for hiking, trail running, mountain biking, and backpacking.
Marmot Rock Campground operates on a first-come, first-serve basis. The campground is open from May - November. Each site offers a picnic table and grill. The campground offers bear boxes, vault toilets, and fresh drinking water. This is a great campground for tent camping - not so great for RVs. The cost of camping is $18/night or $24/night when water is available, $5 for additional vehicles, and $2/night for pets. You can purchase firewood from nearby Trapper Springs.
