Yosemite Point is located near the top of Yosemite Falls. The view of the valley below is indescribable. You climb alongside the 2,000 foot waterfall during the hike and encounter nature at its finest.
Starting near camp 4, you begin your hike by immediately gaining elevation. Throughout the hike you will constantly be going up switchbacks. You will be climbing along side the falls and there are multiple places where you can stop to eat, take pictures, and rest. Once you reach the top of Yosemite Falls it is a must to go see the waterfall from the rails. I was lucky enough to meet a professional German slack liner who inspired me to begin practicing the sport (see the picture.) Once your'e ready to continue on, Yosemite Point is less than a mile away. You will cross a bridge and follow a trail to the destination. I would highly recommend bringing a hammock to set up to chill in while taking in the breathtaking view.
