Enjoy panoramic views of the Teton Range while exploring the ruins of a historic cabin.

The Cunningham Cabin Historic Site is located just off HWY 191 in Grand Teton National Park. The turnoff is marked, and will take you down a short road to a parking lot adjacent to the site.

The location features a short, interpretative guide, which tells about the history of the homesteaders who settled in the valley during the 1800's.

When we visited, it was just after sunrise, so we had the location to ourselves, however, keep in mind that as the day progresses, so do the crowds. Another factor to keep in mind is that bison frequent the area, so use caution and good judgement while exploring.

Camp at Upper View Campground

There is so much to see and do in Wyoming's National Parks but with a view (of the Tetons) and a price (FREE) like this it is pretty unlikely you will want to leave this unbeatable campsite.

Camping at "The Observatory"

Ah...the Observatory. This is not its actual name, but the nickname it has earned over many years of use by the seasonal employees.
