Description

Added by Andy Merkel

A quaint local suburban park with a wonderful lake for fishing, swimming, exploring, canoeing, or photography. You can't beat this view during the summer as the sky fills with color and reflections form on the lake!

You will find plenty of unique things going on at this park at all times. People swimming at the beach on the east end of the lake, people canoeing from the boat launch, grilling, hiking around the perimeter of the lake, and plenty of people fishing on one of two piers. Dogs are welcome and encouraged at the lake! It will take you approximately 30 minutes to hike the whole paved trail if that is all you do, but there are plenty of other off trails to spend a few hours here!

Park your car at any of the parking lots, and start hiking the paved trail. You can't miss the trail as it winds around the lake. There are plenty of overlooks, piers, and trails off-road to take if you are adventurous. Definitely stay for the sunset, this is the perfect spot in the Brookfield area for a romantic evening!
