Corona Arch Trail in Moab is a 2.3-mile out-and-back hike. The arch has gained popularity, so pan to get there early or on a weekday if you can. Corona Arch is home to this famous rope swing video. This hike gets very hot during the summer. Bring plenty of water and plan for about 2 hours!

This is an easy 2.3-mile hike to an amazing arch in Moab that ISN'T in Arches National Park. If you have every seen any “arch swing” videos this is where its done! Hangout under this massive arch without much of a crowd. This should only take a couple of hours round trip depending on hiking speed. The arch offers just about the only shade you will find on the hike, although you will have to move with the sun to keep out of it.

Even though there is a world famous video of people rope swinging off this arch, it’s still considered a low-key spot in Moab. Most people visiting spend their time at The Arches or Canyonlands so you wont run into very many people on this hike. There is just something about standing under a massive arch!

Keep in mind that this hike is extremely hot during the summer months so bring A LOT of water. On the trail, there will be waypoints along the trail to help you find your way to the arch.

Corona Arch Trail Reviews

1.5 mile hike in on a great trail, totally worth checking it out and less crowded then arches NP.

This is a fairly easy hike with an amazing arch at the end. The trail is pretty easy to follow. The best part is that there are not very many other people here because it isn't in Arches National Park.

This hike is short and pretty easy to navigate. It took about 20-30 minutes to hike to the arch and it was well worth it. The arch is massive and impressive and definitely on par with Arches' arches. Like others have posted, if this was in the national park it would be a much busier hike but since it's not you can enjoy more solitude!
