Chriss Lake is a small fishing lake on Boulder Mountain accessible by hikers, bikers and horse riders via the Chriss Lake Trail. This trail is a scenic hike that offers amazing views of both Escalante and the Grand Staiurcase National Monuments while it makes its ascent through meadow and aspen trees to Chriss Lake. The closest town is Boulder, Utah, which one from there can drive east on Hwy 12 to the Chriss Lake trailhead sign (between mileposts 96 and 97) and turn left to find free parking for the hike.
