Day 1. Arrive Cochin

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Check into the hotel and relax. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 2. Cochin

Post breakfast today embark on a sightseeing tour of Cochin, which includes a visit to the Dutch Palace Museum also called as Mattancherry Palace, a traditional Kerala-styled edifice, which was gifted to the King of Cochin by the Portuguese in 1555. Next, visit the St. Francis Church, India’s oldest European church built in 1503 by the Portuguese; it draws large number of tourists and once marked as the burial site of the famous Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama (the first European to reach India), before being moved to Lisbon. Now arrive at the Hill Palace Museum, Kerala’s first ever heritage museum exhibiting oil-paintings, murals, sculptures, manuscripts and belongings of the Kochi royal family. Your next trip is to the Jewish Synagogue, India’s oldest active synagogue built in 1568, with antiques adorning its interiors. Lastly, proceed to Cochin’s landmark - the giant Chinese Fishing Nets. In the evening we will witness the tradition and culture through the famous Kathakali performance in an auditorium. Kathakali is a classical Indian dance where the character wears elaborate costumes and make up. It is one of the oldest theater forms in the world. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 3. Cochin – Alleppey

Today after breakfast, you will be driven towards Alleppey - the land of stunning backwaters and the most thriving tourist destination. Upon arrival, check into the houseboat and enjoy the rest of the time at leisure. Enjoy the picturesque beauty of the backwaters as you cruise on a traditional houseboat through the network of lakes, lagoons and canals. Enjoy a magical sunset in the evening. Overnight on the houseboat.

Day 4. Alleppey – Kovalam

Post breakfast, check-out and proceed for Kovalam. Upon arrival, check into the Somatheeram Ayurvedic Resort and enjoy rest of the time at leisure. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 5-10. Kovalam

For the next six days you will be treated by professional masseurs and therapists and offered medicated steam baths, therapies, and treatments that will rejuvenate your mind, body and soul. Get rejuvenated at Somatheeram Ayurveda Village, an award winning Ayurvedic Resort with beach access. Delve into a relaxing body massage with medicated oil and cream. Each of the therapy process purifies the body so that you can attain proper balance, the therapies will make you feel lighten and refreshed making you achieve good health and longevity.

Day 11. Kovalam - Trivandrum – Departure

Have breakfast in the morning and then set off for the airport to board the flight for your onward destination.
