Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu

On your arrival in Kathmandu Airport you will meet our representative. After greeting, you will be assisted to the hotel. The day will be kept for leisure followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: In Kathmandu

After breakfast, head out to explore Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath. Later, go to Patan, a city located close to Kathmandu. After the tour, you can return to the hotel for overnight stay. Kathmandu Durbar Square: This is one of the stunning UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Sites. You can find several ancient temples and palaces, large courtyards and streets each dating back to over 12th and 18th centuries. Swayambhunath: Swayambhunath is a Buddhist Temple which is over 2500 years old. The structure is composed of solid hemisphere of brick and a lofty conical spire covered by a pinnacle of copper gilt. The main structure has murals on all sides. Patan: Patan also known as Lalitpur is located approx. 5 kilometres from Kathmandu. It is believed to be built in the 3rd century AD, by Emperor Ashoka. Patan has many Hindu temples and Buddhist monasteries.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu/Pokhara (6.5 hrs drive approx. under normal road condition)

From Kathmandu drive to Pokhara and check in at the selected hotel, go for an hour boat ride on Phewa Lake. After, return to the hotel for an overnight stay. Phewa Lake: This Lake is the second largest lake in Nepal stretching to over 1.5 kilometres. One can easily find a place to sit back, relax and enjoy great view while savouring meal on the cafes near the lake.

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tirkhedhunga (5 hrs walk approx.)

Drive to Nayapul, once there, walk for around 20 minutes to Birethanti (1056 m). From here on, you can walk towards Tirkhedhunga (1577 m) traversing several small villages. Upon arrival, check in at the local lodge.

Day 05: Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani (2850 m – 7 hrs walk approx.)

Hike towards Ulleri, followed by a hike towards Banthanti traversing magnificent oak and rhododendron forest. You will arrive at Ghorepani, a pleasing village from where you get a panoramic view of several peaks. Stay in Ghorepani on local lodge.

Day 06: Ghorepani to Ghangruk

Today, hike to Ghangruk. Ghandruk is one of the most popular villages of the Annapurna regions and the second largest Gurung Village of Nepal. You can find the headquarters of Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) and also a visitor centre. Spend overnight in Ghandruk.

Day 07: Ghangruk - Nayapul and drive to Pokhara

Next day, go to Nayapul. You will pass several streams, deep forests, rice terraces in between. From Nayapul, a private vehicle will be waiting for you to drive back to your hotel in Pokhara.

Day 08: Pokhara - Kathmandu (6.5 hrs drive approx. under normal road condition)

Today, you can check out from Pokhara and drive towards Kathmandu via same route. On arrival, check-in at hotel and rest for the day.

Day 09: Departure

After breakfast, check out and you will be transferred to the airport for departure.
