Itinerary

Arrive Iguazu and half day tour of the Brazilian side of the falls

On arrival at either the Brazilian or Argentinian airport (prior to 12:00) enjoy a half day tour of the Brazilian side of the falls for panoramic views. Though not the highest nor largest waterfalls in the world, they are a true spectacle and a must see for anyone visiting South America. Overnight on the Argentinean side of the Falls* in twinshare accommodation including breakfast. *All passengers with accommodation in the city of Puerto Iguazu must pay a Municipal Tax. This tax is collected in pesos by your hotel at check-in (approx USD$2 per person per night). The hotel will provide a receipt and this should be carried with you to avoid being charged again if visiting the Brazil side of Iguazu Falls.Note: A Brazil visa is required for passport holders from a number of countries.

Morning half day tour of falls on Argentine side

This morning you will undertake a sightseeing tour of the Argentinian side of the falls. The temperature is always pleasant at this time of day, and there are lots of birds and coati mundis (a cousin of the bear surprisingly - but looks more like a possum!) in the forests near the falls. Set in a lush rain forest, there are more than twenty-five different cataracts – some small, some absolutely massive. The largest of all is the Boca or Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). The evening is at leisure to relax.
