I am based in Houston, TX but I get out every chance I can to get back to my hobbies of backpacking, skiing, and swimming. If you find me in Houston and I am not working to pay for my adventures, you find me running, biking, swimming, and drooling over mountain bikes.
I did this hike with my friends and had a blast. Hiking up the canyon is no joke, the friend I was with on the second to last day hiking up the canyon got pretty dehydrated and had a rough time. Lots of sunscreen, watch out for the bugs, drink water, and pace yourself. This trip is worth it.

I went out here for a long weekend and started my trip off with this hike. Its a rough hike up, you gain over 3000 ft in 4 miles, but the view is outstanding.
