Outbound Collective x Eddie Bauer: A Partnership of Shared Purpose

Together, we're inspiring and empowering our communities’ outdoor adventures.

By: The Outbound Collective + Save to a List

At the Outbound Collective, we’re building an outdoor community where everyone feels welcome, represented, and empowered to live healthier lives through the pursuit of everyday adventures. And to realize this ambitious vision for a better outdoors, it’s clear that we can’t do this on our own. We need to find like-minded partners within the industry who share our purpose and values.

That's why we're kicking off our journey in 2021 with a new outdoor industry partnership that furthers our mission to make nature and all its elements a more inviting place for people to be.

We're excited to announce Eddie Bauer as our official 2021 Adventure Outfitter.

This partnership is an exciting opportunity to further empower, inspire, and outfit our respective communities and to accelerate our joint goals of building a more inclusive space in the outdoors. Eddie Bauer is already a key partner in our #EveryoneOutside Film Series and our Writers Residency Program for Underrepresented Storytellers, and over the course of the next few months, we’ll be introducing additional integrations within our community that include product collaborations, guide and athlete contributions, user engagement rewards, and exclusive perks for our PRO members and Community Partners.

From designing the first patented down jacket in America to outfitting the first American ascent of Mt. Everest, Eddie Bauer brings more than 100 years of inspiration, innovation and exploration to our community. As the brand looks ahead to the next 100 years, it’s their mission to bring the benefits of the outdoors to all communities, particularly those who have been underrepresented in our industry. In acknowledgement that outdoor spaces have not always been a welcoming place for all, Eddie Bauer has committed to helping change that. You can read here about the steps they've taken as an organization to move forward and ensure all people feel invited, accepted, and validated in their full range of outdoor experiences.

Stay tuned for more on this partnership as we explore adventure from the everyday to the epic. We’re excited to be working with a team and community we share so much in common with, and we hope you check it out, draw some personal inspiration, and share some of your own.
