Introducing The Outbound Job Board

The best jobs in the outdoor industry

By: The Outbound Collective + Save to a List

Job boards are nothing new, but we want to make it dead simple to find jobs in the outdoor industry. We've been writing about folks that have followed their passion and found jobs in the outdoors for a while now, and every time, we get emails and comments from our community looking for ways they can do the same.

Today, we launched The Outbound Job Board, a place for companies in the outdoor space to post their open positions and reach 3.6+ million outdoor enthusiasts. We've built an engaged community of talented, passionate individuals who hunger for adventure and the outdoors. Now, we want to help them turn that passion into their dream jobs.

You might recognize some of our launch partners, like Clif Bar, Goal Zero, The Sierra Club, Garmin, Mountain Hardwear, Nemo Equipment, and Mammoth Mountain. We can't wait to get more folks on board.

How's it work?

If you're a company, you can post jobs with a full description and link to apply. We'll send an email recap with the stats of your job posting each week, so you can see how it's performing. If you're a job seeker, just check back regularly for new postings!

What's it cost?

A job posting starts at $150 (with discounts for more credits).

Why a job board?

We're all about bringing the best of the outdoors under one roof. We saw an opportunity to make careers in the outdoors more accessible to our community. Existing services seemed a bit lacking, and we wanted to provide the best experience possible for our partners and the community.

We want to acknowledge and thank the past, present, and future generations of all Native Nations and Indigenous Peoples whose ancestral lands we travel, explore, and play on. Always practice Leave No Trace ethics on your adventures and follow local regulations. Please explore responsibly!

Do you love the outdoors?

Yep, us too. That's why we send you the best local adventures, stories, and expert advice, right to your inbox.
