Sony is a favorite among our team of Explorers. We even have a few folks that are part of the Sony Alpha Collective (lookin' at you Lisa Bao, Scott Kranz, and Nate Luebbe). We're stoked to share recommendations from more of Sony's incredible ambassadors on some of their top, can’t-miss items for the holidays. Check it out below!

Sony a7 III

Quickly becoming a staple in my kit is the Sony A7iii, but not for the reason you may think. The image quality is beautiful, but I find myself utilizing the A7iii for video equally as much, with it’s gorgeous full frame 4K and amazing autofocus capabilities. – Philip Edsel

24mm f1.4 Lens

In all my years capturing the night sky, I have NEVER found a lens this fast @ f1.4 that can capture points of light so sharp and tight in the most far extreme corners of a photograph. It's a dream come true and the king of the night in the field of astrophotography. – Stan Moniz

Sony a6000 + Kit Lens

In over 10 years of photographing with Sony cameras the a6000 has been my favorite to own! I felt this was created for me, from the compactness that makes a shy person like me feel comfortable when I'm photographing street imagery, to the amazing image quality from the sensor for my epic landscape and cityscape images. Even as an owner of the a7R III and a9, this camera remains in my bag for having the speed and image quality I want, but in a body that's much smaller and lighter. – Kenneth Hines

RX100 VI

The Sony RX100VI is the prefect compact camera to take with me anywhere. The autofocus and focal range allows me to capture anything near and far. It amazes me how much power this 1 inch sensor has. The image quality and 4K video output is incredible. – Quay Hu

Sony Tough Memory Cards

I like to know that I can trust that my images will be safe. The Sony tough line gives me the peace of mind knowing that I can shoot in any conditions and not worry about corrupted files. Not only that, their speed allows me to take full advantage of the speed offered by the Sony Alpha line. – Matthew Hahnel
