The Wildcat Canyon and Far Reaches Loop Trail is a 6.8 mile hike with scenic views in Government Canyon State Natural Area.

The Wildcat Canyon and Far Reaches Trail is shared by hikers, mountain bikers, and trail runners. This trail features beautiful wildflowers in the spring, and is open year round. Watch for dinosaur tracks!

For the loop hike: start by following the Recharge Trail to the Far Reaches Trail, pass some overlooks, and then connect back via the Wildcat Canyon Trail and the Joe Johnson Route.

Dogs are not allowed on this trail.
