Description

A great and well-maintained neighborhood trail with a peaceful garden area.

The Hamilton Greenbelt is a 5.1 mile out-and-back neighborhood hike located in Lakeway, just 15 miles outside of downtown Austin. The trail is located in a neighborhood and is extremely well-maintained. At the entrance of the trail you will find a little garden area with a small waterfall and a sitting bench. The trail features an abundance of wildlife and running streams. It's the perfect trail for any exercise types, including running, walking, and cycling. It is highly trafficked and especially on weekends.

Parking is pretty limited with around 30 parking spots. Arriving earlier in the morning is more likely to guarantee you a parking spot. There are bathrooms at the trailhead. Dogs are welcome though leashes are required.
