A lovely waterfall to hike to with a short hike or make it longer for a day hike depending on which trail you want!

Great short hike. Hard to find trail head, it is not marked at the parking area or where you leave the road.

Put in your gps the coordinate spot tagged above off Clara Point Rd. To get to the trailhead, you have to cross the road from small parking area and go back 20 - 30 yards, where you will find a small marker pointing out the trail on the right side of the road. Cross the bridge and turn left and you are on the trail. White blazes will be on the trail. First couple hundred yards is uneven and rocky. After that the trail levels out, until you get close to the falls.

The falls in mid April flow well, in dryer weather the stream dries up completely.

The falls drop down into a large hole and disappears into a cave. You can access the underground stream by going down a trail across from the falls and going down into a cave. It's pretty steep and wet, so watch your step.

Watch out for poison ivy and oak near the waterfall as well!

Hike to Bridal Veil Falls in Sewanee, TN Reviews

Quick hike down and slow hike back up. Beautiful area. Be prepared for no place to park. There were two cars there and I had to park in a weird spot and was a bit nervous I’d get towed. I did not and all was well.
