Nashville has a lot to offer, but natural overlooks are hard to come by. If you're looking for a quiet place with a beautiful view, this 30-minute drive outside of the city is exactly what you need.
From the parking lot, walk up the same road the direction you entered. Just a little up the hill to the left, you will see the trailhead for the Bluff Overlook. It's only about a 0.25 mile hike, but the initial walk up the hill is steep. Once you reach the top, there are several points to sit and look out over the river as it flows through miles of Tennessee farmland and hills.

My review is on the fact that Bailey, the person who published this article, refused to just give simple directions. I am not from here, so I really needed directions, which she wouldn't give unless I made an account. After making an account, I still couldn't get directions (or even just a simple address). I drove an hour to the wrong place and have now wasted several hours out of my day because Bailey couldn't just post the damn directions for people to see. Very frustrating.
