I have my heart in Michigan and my mind around the world. Adventurer, travel blogger and outdoor enthusiast. You'll probably find me in the woods.

It's not overwhelming difficult, but the peak makes you feel on top of the world. Perfect early morning or evening hike. But please, if you go bring your trash down with you. There's quite a lot of trash in certain spots near the peak. If i ever return to the area I'm hiking up with a trash bag.

What a great hike. We were the only ones on the entire trail and the views were amazing. It was a little cool when we were there, but I'd recommend bringing a picnic down to the riverbanks on a warm day.

I'm not sure how often it occurs, but when going to see it the falls were completely dry. I'm guessing it had something to do with the dam. However, the area is still incredibly beautiful.

Southern Ontario is relatively flat, but the escarpment trail is quite an amazing gem. It's also home to dozens of waterfalls. Anyone looking for a little adventure in the area should head here.

I'm originally from Michigan, and I thought I had found all the best places to watch the sunset. Wrong. I saw the tiny park on the map and decided to check it out. From the top of the giant sand dune you get incredible views and the sunset blew my mind. One of my new favorite spots in the state.

A pretty tough hike that had my legs quite sore. The last mile or so was covered in snow and the summit had an unreal view of the surrounding area. If you're in the area and enjoy a good hike, put this at the top of your list!

A great trail with wonderful views. Compared to Angel's Landing, the elevation gain is much more but the trial is not nearly as dangerous. Along the trail you'll pass slot canyons, towering cliffs, and many scenic spots to enjoy a packed lunch.

There is a trailhead for this hike right next to the trail for Angel's Landing. It was a great "cool down" hike. The trail offers great views of the valley and anyone can do it!

A nice and easy hike to the beautiful arches. We made the mistake of going in the middle of the day when it was most crowded. Because the hike is very easy, it's a main attraction in the park. Still beautiful, though!

This was a great hike. The very beginning and very end are the steepest while the middle section is relatively tame. I'm an avid hiker and the end was still quite the workout for my legs! The falls are incredible. It was a nice surprise to have such a beautiful view of the valley as well.

And easy but scenic hike. We went on a weekday which turned out to be perfect because we had the place all to ourselves (we heard it's usually crowded). There was still snow covering the entire trail but in my opinion it only made the hike prettier! Great place just a short drive from Salt Lake City.

Found these hot springs on the site and had to check them out. It's not an overly-difficult trail, but there are a few challenging spots with the boulders. The hot springs are incredible! We were hot from hiking and first cliff jumped into the Colorado River to cool off (the river water is quiet freezing) and then headed back up to the hot springs. We had some friends coming out to visit in a couple days, and we liked the hike so much we went back a second time with them. The parking can get crowded but the hot springs never got too packed. 10/10 would recommend!

I didn't expect much after the stunning Observation Point hike, but decided to see where this trail went on the way down. It wasn't too long and had some really fun rock scrambles through the canyon. Beautiful!

Lake Tahoe is absolutely beautiful. However, in the winter many of the pull offs and hikes are closed because of snow. Sand Harbor was one of the few stops still open, although it still required a $7/car fee. This would be very worth it in the summer when there is more to do. I will return!

The mountain is easily spotted throughout the city, and it offers an amazing perspective from the top. However, prepare for massive crowds on weekends that can make it difficult to park. There is no designated parking lot so anyone looking to hike will need to park on the street.

Shark Fine Cove can't be seen from the road, and is easily missed if you aren't looking for it. I've driven this section of coast multiple times and didn't even know this beach existed until recently. It's unbelievably beautiful!

A unique perspective of the famous monument, and the hike to shore keeps a majority of the crowds away. I recommend catching a sunset here! The only bad thing is there isn't much parking available at the trailhead.

I first fell in love with this hike four years ago on my first trip to California. I recently returned and was afraid I over exaggerated how much I loved it. Turns out I left loving it more.

Muir Woods is absolutely beautiful. The park isn't that big and can easily be explored in a few hours. If you are visiting during high tourist season be prepared for a lot of crowds and full parking.

One of my favorite Michigan hikes during the fall! The colors are brilliant and the view from the lookout it breathtaking.

There aren't many waterfalls you can stand under and take a refreshing shower. There's also a small side trial that leads to the top of the falls! I've been here both in the summer and winter, and actually enjoyed the falls more in the off season. It is rarely visited late fall through mid-spring. So if you stop then you'll have the place to yourself!

There is no where else on earth where you can see such crystal clear waters. Absolutely amazing!
