One of the best day hikes near Boulder area. The Chasm meadow leading up to the lake is absolutely wonderful. It is really awesome to hike in the winter too when the lake is frozen over.

One of my favorite adventures of my life! The water is definitely cold I am glad I'm not the only one who jumped in there ;)

This trek is seriously awesome. With the Inca trail seeing over 80,000 visitors per year, I found myself at home in this more remote, challenging trek. Do not miss Humantay Lake towards the beginning of the trek it was one of the most beautiful places I saw in Peru despite multiple treks and tours in the South and North. If you would like to do this trek on your own without a guide there are definitely lots of percs besides the obvious one of being cheaper! I did it and wrote a story on how to do it on your own here: https://theoutbound.com/seanob-productions/trekking-to-machu-picchu-without-a-guide Enjoy!

This is an easy, fun winter hike that accesses 3 lakes. I HIGHLY recommend skiing down this couloir after climbing it!

I love this place and visits it every time I'm in aspen. A very fun cliff jump with some perfect take offs. Only thing I don't like about this place is how busy it's starting to get.

If you go here do not miss the 4 lakes above Loch Lomond, they are some of the most unvisited alpine lakes around Denver.

This is one of my favorite rides that I can do from my doorstep in Boulder. It's less rocky and more flows than most trails in the front range.

This hike is really cool, especially since it's right outside of town and a lower elevation than most hikes in RMNP, which means less snow in the shoulder seasons!
