The Bluff Trail Loop is an 8.2 mile hike in Andrew Molera State Park, featuring a river and scenic ocean views.

The Bluff Trail Loop is a relatively tough hike, but you will be well rewarded for your efforts. There is very little shade on the trail until you are about 2/3 of the way up. When you are about a mile from the top, you will reach a redwood forest. You will pass by two beautiful beaches. Keep your eyes peeled for mountain lions and deer!

Make sure to bring enough water and perhaps some trekking poles. The trail is open year-round but can be treacherous after heavy rains.

Start in the parking lot, take the beach trail down to the coast, then loop back up via the ridge trail. You can camp at Andrew Molera State Park!
