Description

Added by Jeremy Gleiberman

Running these roughly 100 steps makes for a great way to get in a quick workout outdoors. The stairs are lit so you can run them at night.

This is a great spot to get in a workout and to get some fresh air. The stairs are around 100 steps to the top, so if you're feeling good, you can get a few rounds in. In terms of safety, there are usually people around the convention center, so you most likely won't be alone. With that said, be sure to check the Events Calendar; it can get a little too crowded if there's a big conference in town.

Once you're all finished up, head into the Gaslamp District for a bite.

Run the Convention Center Stairs Reviews

Gets a sweat going! Feels great. Definitely recommend.

Make sure you bring hydration. This is a great workout and I bring my team with me every time we are there for business. We pair this with a paved trail behind the convention center to add some variety. Enjoy and prepare to sweet.

I did this adventure on a recent business trip to San Diego. My hotel was pretty close to the convention center, so this was convenient. As a bonus, when I got to the top I kept going straight and came to a nice lookout point with great views of the water.

Great workout, it'll kick your butt. We do it every Thursday and it's awesome. Great outdoor activity.
