This place is utterly beautiful considering the surrounding area. By that I mean the hustle and bustle of busy Downtown L.A. Easily hidden away, I wouldn’t have ever known this place existed if it weren’t for this app (I’ve lived in L.A. my whole life). Great place for a morning walk, afternoon picnic or a stroll through the park date. Highly recommend it.

Great hike! Take a good amount of water if doing the whole loop. Make sure to stop by and enjoy the beautiful view at the lake.

It’s one of the smallest parks I’ve ever visited, but the view is amazing! Got there about half an hour before sunset and there was already people there to take in the view. The park has several stone benches lined up facing out, giving you views of Long Beach all the way around to Downtown LA on a clear day. Would definitely recommend, definitely going back.
