This is one of the most beautiful scenic drives in America. There are multiple waterfalls, hikes, and parks to explore along the highway. Multnomah Falls is one of the most beautiful and tallest waterfalls to visit. Horsetail Falls is also a must see to capture some amazing photography there. There are many look out spots as well to catch the sunset over the Columbia River Gorge. Driving along the highway you will have an amazing view of the mile wide Columbia River right next to you.
The Columbia River Highway starts from Portland and continues west until the town of Boardman. The highway is located right next to the Columbia River in the middle of the gorge where you are surrounded by amazingly high cliffs and mountains. This is a must do scenic drive to experience all that the Columbia River Gorge has to offer.
