Amazing views from the highest point in Pinnacle Park at 4700 feet!

Heading out from the parking area, head north on this challenging hike. For the majority of the hike, you'll have a pretty steady uphill charge. There are some flat parts between climbs, so be sure to catch your breath and get some water in during these times. Once you reach the fork, where you'll see a sign for the pinnacle, the trail will begin to level out, rewarding you for your hard work at the beginning.

If you're planning for longer or more challenging hikes over the summer or fall, this is a great trek to help you get in shape.

Me and my girlfriend are pretty much amateur hikers to say the least, and so is our 5 month old puppy. But we saw the views and couldn't turn down the chance to get up. We are both college athletes and like to think we are in decent shape but it was hard. I read that it was "relentlessly uphill" and that was the absolute truth. But the views were incredible and the weather was awesome! Couldn't have asked for a better time.
