I love to share what I find along the way so that others may experience the same joys. Sometimes my words fall short, but a photo can tell the story for me.
This is the perfect spot to park it for the night before embarking on a Superstition Mountain adventure. It sits at the base of the Supes and the beginning of the Siphon Draw Trail (flatiron) is steps away. There's also some killing rock climbing that could be accessed easily on foot from here.

I love how the landscape changes about three quarters of the way through the hike. You'll enter a moon like landscape with huge boulders just before reaching the summit. The trail is very well-maintained and can be used for trail running if your a boss. Keep an eye out for bees and rattlesnakes in the warmer months
