The Codfish Point Trail is a 4 mile hike in Catskill State Park, just outside of Elka, New York.
This trail offers phenomenal views of Platte Clove and the forested mountains and valleys of Catskill State Park. The trail is open for use year-round (make sure to bring your snowshoes and crampons in the winter)! Dogs are open for use year-round, but must be kept on leash.
If you turn left on the yellow trail at the end, you'll get a panoramic view of the surrounding scenery.
