This through hike offers great views of the Kittatinny Mountains and the Delaware River.
This point to point hike can be done in either direction. There is parking at the entrance to Worthington Campground. Cross Old Mine Road and start up the Garvey Spring Trail (orange markers). The trail passes Laurel Falls on the right then ascends steeply until you reach an old forest road. The trail follows this until it breaks off and ascends another single track section. The trail ends at a gap on Mount Mohican and the Appalachian Trail.
Turn left on the AT and climb a short distance until you can a ridge. Follow the ridge for 4.5 miles with great views in all directions. When you reach the Coppermine Trail (red markers), turn left and descend back to Old Mine Road. There is another parking area when you exit where hopefully you parked another car from your party.
