As you make your way up the long private driveway, climbing slowly uphill, you may wonder for just a moment if you made a wrong turn. It seems almost impossible that a home would be found here, in a setting so gorgeous and so secluded.

At the top of the hill the expansive vista opens up and you see KC House, nestled into the towering trees.

The four-bedroom home is located just 10 minutes northwest of downtown Healdsburg but feels as if it's worlds away. Looking out from any of the windows in the open-concept house, you're treated to panoramic views. You'll spot numerous grapevines in various stages of growth in the rolling hillsides, Dry Creek Valley down below, and sprawling mountains — snow-capped for much of the year — in the distance.

KC House has been thoughtfully landscaped with colorful native California plants to complement the surrounding forest scenery. Thanks to the large picture windows, you often feel as though you're sitting outside when you're actually indoors cozied up near the wood-burning stove! Guests will likely want to spend the majority of their stay here being outdoors enjoying the year-round mild weather and the home certainly lends itself to doing just that. There are several walking trails surrounding the property, a hot tub overlooking the colorful valley, and a shaded outdoor seating area with spectacular vineyard and mountain views.

The Wine Country region of California has much to offer and KC House is an ideally-located basecamp for experiencing it all. It's located in Sonoma County and is perfect for exploring wineries to both the north and south, as well as the Pacific Coast and the cities of the Bay Area, which are all just over an hour away. Downtown Healdsburg itself has a number of shops and award-winning restaurants and wineries, but Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino are all within easy access as well.

Guests will find a bit of everything for everyone at KC House. Whether you're taking a relaxed family trip and looking for privacy or you're traveling with a group of adventurous outdoor-loving friends, we've got it.
