This is a 1080 sq ft, 2 bedroom / 2 bath pet-friendly (see pet fee) house with a gas grill, fully equipped kitchen, fully stocked beverage station that hosts a coffee pot and Keurig, snacks, laundry with detergent, and a fire pit/picnic.

The Bird House is a comfortable two-bedroom / 2 bath house with a fully equipped kitchen. "quiet" and "peaceful" and "clean" are the words used repeatedly to describe it. It comes with Apple TV: Hulu, Prime, Netflix, and HBO now (bring your cable login for enhanced viewing), WiFi, books, and board games.
Fur babies are welcome, though please read through all the rules regarding pets. Please note there is a pet fee.
There are walking sticks provided for use as it is centrally located to several great parks with miles of hiking trails: Rock Island, Fall Creek Falls (Fall Creek Falls also offers pontoon boat rides, canoe rental for $5 an hour, horseback riding, awesome hiking trails, and zip-lining) Savage Gulf, Greeter Falls, and Stone Door (and hour away and know for great hiking and rock repelling). If you're a bit more of a thrill-seeker, Sequatchie County is also the hang gliding capital whether you want to schedule a jump or just sit on a cliff and watch.

Once back at the house, enjoy the string lights over the fire pit (firewood provided), and enjoy a meal at the picnic table using the dishes provided. Roast hot dogs, make s' mores, hang out and tell ghost stories.

Special note: the house will be decorated for the holiday season!

The property is a guest house and situated next to the main house but is very quiet and private, situated on 13 wooded acres.

Also, three miles from the house is a well-stocked dollar general, 6 miles to a restaurant and gasoline, so you won't have far to travel for your needs.

During the summer, you'll pass a local Mennonite community on your way to and from Fall Creek Falls State Park. Here you'll find wonderful produce, jams, bread, fresh eggs, and local honey.

We like to make your stay special. If your stay is a special occasion, please let us know: birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons, etc.
