Sanctuary Farm Yurt Glamping
Alberton, Montana
Magical getaway bedroom in the woods on 25 acres where glamping meets rewilding. Come recharge and rest. Breakfast delivered to your door.
Short walk to the all cedar outhouse. Enjoy watching the fire dance at the campfire circle by the creek. Great hiking trails close by, and just 20 miles to Lolo Hot Springs and 4 miles to a restaurant/saloon. This is a space to truly unwind, as there is no cell phone coverage, internet, or cable TV.
This all-season yurt is a special getaway every day of the year. For cold and snowy days the wood stove heats the yurt nicely (we will have the fire going and the yurt warm upon your arrival). For warm days, we have a fan, and summer evenings are in the 50s and 60s here.
The yurt has one king-size bed and is one big open room with a large closet. We welcome additional people if you don't mind a bedroll on the floor.
We keep a full-size futon mattress in the closet, with extra bedding in a cupboard, for any extra's that won't fit on the bed. Wood is provided for the indoor wood stove that heats the yurt. There is a charming outhouse, and an outdoor kitchen and bathhouse that is fully functional mid-May through mid-October, and partially functional (no running water) over the winter months. In summer, enjoy the cool clear water in the creek that runs through the property.
When the days are hot and sunny the yurt gets pretty warm, but it does cool off nicely at night. We do keep a fan in the yurt, and the windows and doors have screens. We do not have an air-conditioner in the yurt. We are in the mountains so it is usually 10 degrees cooler than in town.
There are several acres available for you to enjoy nature, backed by Lolo National Forest. Enjoy the fire circle, creek, pet the goats, and walk through the flower garden.
