Meadow Ridge Farm Meadow
Litchfield, Connecticut
Secluded campsite on the oldest dairy farm in Litchfield
Meadow Ridge Farm is a 110-acre working dairy farm. But don't be misled, the site is very secluded, located over a quarter a mile away from anything. You will get to the campsite by driving down the gravel road past corn fields and pastures. The area has so much to offer, including award-winning restaurants, some of the most beautiful hiking trails, wineries, a distillery, and local farmers market. Three miles away the town green offers shops, historical tours, restaurants, and bars. White Memorial Foundation is a 4000-acre nature preserve 4 miles away with over 40 miles of trails and so much more! Fresh raw milk, local eggs, and seasonal produce are available on site for purchases. We provide fire wood for your site so you have one less thing to pack! New for 2019, you will also find the following at your site when you arrive: *Cast Iron skillet, griddle and dutch oven *Games: Indoor- Candy Land, Deck of cards and Outdoor - Cornhole (bean bag toss). Staying with a large group? Check and see if our other site is available too. There is a nice trail that runs between the two for your convenience.
