Set in the central Missouri Ozarks. Experience the most relaxing and unique getaway and vacation setting you’ll discover in the Ozark Hills.

You’ll encounter an environment far from everyday life. Located 35 miles from Rolla, 50 miles from Jefferson City, 125 miles from St. Louis, and 200 miles from Kansas City. Each cabin offers a unique, scenic, and secluded experience.

Join generations of families and couples who make this their place to relax, renew, and reconnect. You’ll find private access to the Gasconade River and canoes for fishing, exploring. You may wish to canoe, hike, fish, explore, photograph, nature watch, swim, or simply relax in a bucolic, scenic locale.

Perched two hundred feet above the river, the cottage provides a broad panorama.
Three bedrooms with comfortable queen beds. A sofa bed provides another single. There is one bath with a shower/tub, a living area, and a large kitchen. WiFi and ROKU TV.

At the front, a deck overlooks the broad valley with room for outdoor dining or just relaxing. Enjoy a wood fire outside for evenings of stories and laughter. The cottage is “turn-key”, you will find everything you need except for your personal items. Local historians, now long gone, claimed that an Indian house once stood on this scenic spot on the bluff over the river. Perhaps in proof of that, we have since found many ancient artifacts here.

Now, from the comfort of this modern cottage, it is still not hard to envision those early people enjoying this special location. You’ll make this your central location for trips to the river, hikes in the woods, for forays up beautiful Clifty Creek, antiquing or shopping trips, or for simply relaxing. Find history and serenity above the valley.
