Visit Antietam National Battlefield and more. Hike along the Appalachian Trail amidst hardwood trees that glow with color in the fall. Here, three states meet at the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers - with great tubing, kayaking and whitewater rafting. Biking enthusiasts can catch the C&O Canal trail that runs through town, 2 miles away. KOA's in-season weekends begin with pancake breakfasts and are capped by wine tastings and a ceremonial cannon firing, movies at the indoor theater or s'mores around the group fire pit.
