•Located in the gated Keawaiki Beach Lots community, this secluded waterfront 3BR/2BA home, affectionately named Hale ‘O Kaleo Kai or “Voice of the Ocean,” features a wraparound lanai and breathtaking ocean views. You can even see the Captain James Cook Monument, located just across the Kealakekua Bay. For a closer look, drive 4.9 miles and take a hike down the Captain Cook Monument Trail.

Drive just half a mile to Napo'opo'o Park. Take advantage of area snorkeling and kayak rentals. Or drive 5.3 miles and take a self-guided tour through the Kona Coffee Living History Farm.

LIVING AREA

Hardwood floors, wood paneling, and vaulted ceilings give the modern living area a touch of traditional Hawaiian charm. Eight can sit comfortably on a daybed, couch, and three chairs, while taking in spectacular ocean views.

KITCHEN & DINING

Home chefs will love the spacious kitchen with granite countertops and a massive kitchen island with pendant lighting and seating for four.

In the dining area, a round wooden table seats four.

BED & BATH

This home sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms, each equipped with air conditioning. There is also a daybed located in the living area.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, walk-in closet, lanai access, and 48” TV. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower.

The second and third bedrooms both feature queen beds and flat-screen TVs. The second bedroom also has lanai access.

The guest bathroom has a walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREAS

A beautiful covered lanai wraps around the entire home. Outside the front door, you’ll find a ceiling fan and seating for four in a love seat and two wicker chairs. Beneath this part of the lanai, there is a dining table that seats four.

There is a charcoal grill and sink around the side of the home.

Step onto the lanai from the master bedroom, and you’ll find a gas grill, a glass-top table for four, and ceiling-fan lighting. There’s additional seating for six along the remainder of the lanai, which can also be accessed from the open living area. The entire backside of the home has magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean!

Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and cable TV, a washer/dryer, and outdoor parking for three vehicles.

Please note that the shoreline in front of the house is rocky and caution should be exercised if entering the water to snorkel (and only attempted in the calmest of conditions).

As an added perk, this house is equipped with solar panels, making it virtually off-grid capable. In the event of a power outage, the home will remain up and running (including all appliances and air conditioners).

Drive 6 miles to St Benedict Catholic Church, the jewel of South Kona. Listed on the National and Hawaii State Registers of Historic Places, this still-vibrant parish features three-dimensional artwork inspired by the gothic cathedral of Burgos in Spain.
