We LOVED it! My 9 month old rode in a backpack, and my 2.5 year old was able to walk the whole thing. If you're looking for a shorter walk, a stroller will work for most of this trail, and there are still some great viewpoints (without fog). There is one long flight of stairs and a few shorter staircases though, so a backpack for littles is good if you want to explore it all. We brought lots of snacks and bubbles for motivation!
