I wish I can say we made it to the top of Cadillac Mountain on foot but we took the road...a good option to get to the summit of you don't have time for a hike. The summit had space to explore and be removed from crowds. Find your own little space to relax and enjoy a sunrise, sunset, or just the spectacular views.

When visiting San Diego for a long weekend Torrey Pines was on the to do list. The winding trails and cliffs that bring you to oceans edge are beautiful. A spot and hike worth making the time for!

This is a beautiful walking trail & the views of the Atlantic are stunning. Don't miss "40 Steps" where you can venture down to the cliffs and walk around. This trail does get very crowded in prime months and parking can be changeling.

The Kanc is a great road for a scenic drive. There are picturesque overlooks, trail heads, and campsites off the road. If you're looking for a challenge, bike it! The shoulder is small in areas, but it is doable, perhaps try and bike towards the end of summer when the season slows down. Once you reach the highest point the cruise down is a great reward.

The short hike up may deter some, but is worthwhile. Views on a clear day are amazing. The trails might even offer powder stashes a few days after snow has fallen.

I agree with the previous review that getting to the Baths early is highly recommended. This is also a great spot for snorkeling, head out just past the buoys and explore swimming around the large boulders, this was a highlight of my time spent there!

One of the "favorite hikes in the Whites" is also easily accessed from the campsite, the Franconia Ridge Loop. A full day hike, but worth it! This Campground is a great place to stay.

If you're in the area and looking for a short hike Mt. Willard is perfect. Despite being a lower elevation peak the views from the summit are beautiful. If going in the summer there is a swimming hole on the way up!

If you're considering this trip, I highly recommend it! While vacationing to Aspen we were able to squeeze in an overnight trip to the hut. It was our favorite part of the trip and unforgettable. The scenery and views on the way up & down are pristine. Unfamiliar with the area and being form out of town lots of preparations were key to a successful trip including using this post, thank you!
