Born and raised in Arizona, I have a deep love of my home state! When I'm not working, you'll find me on a hiking trail, swinging in a hammock or paddling a kayak. And I'm always on the search for the next perfect camping spot.

This is a wonderful hike, with great views if Devils Sinkhole, Seven Sacred Pools and more. My husband and I did this trail when there was still a bit of snow on the mountains, and it made it so magical. Highly recommend!

But like the other reviewer said, nothing extremely special. If you’re doing some walking sightseeing, this is a fun stop. Quite busy, so you may need to be patient if you want pics by the wall...

If you’re doing a bit of sightseeing in Paris this is a charming place to include. So much color, there are photographers everywhere! Busy, but not too crowded. Fun spot!

Truly an amazing experience! I was able to do this with my dad, and we both were in awe. There were a few off-shoots that got kind of tight, so if you have any sort of fear of confined spaces, make sure to not go that way :) It can be chilly too, so bring layers. Really amazing, highly recommend!

These trees are breathtaking - this is a photographers dream. I was able to visit with my mom, but would love to spend more than just a few hours there. Hoping to come back with my hubby! Reservations required, make sure to check ahead on any new regulations.

This is one of the best highways, and one of the most well known, in America. Beautiful views, great stops along the way - can't be beat! I'm hoping to someday rent a camper van and do this trip with my hubby :)

Such a fun place to spend a couple hours! My dad lived in Newport and we would travel up and down the coast, visiting all the different piers. This one is at the top of my favorites!

If you're here, you have to stop for the photo! It's wonderful with sunrise and sunset, can't wait to go back!!

We stopped here as we had heard it was a must see when you're in Austin. I thought it was pretty cool - definitely lived up to it's name, ha! Lots to see, if you bring kiddos make sure to watch them closely (lots of opportunity for them to get in trouble). Reservation needed, call ahead to see if there are any new regulations!

This is a great way to sightsee in Austin, Texas! Free tours (check before going for any new regulations) and really beautiful grounds. Highly recommend if you're wanting to see the capitol building.

...this is a great spot to catch the sunrise! My hubby and I would grab some pastries and a coffee and make a morning of it. Highly recommend!

We have a cabin on Burntside Lake, and love every bit of Ely. This was an easy/moderate hike and is wonderful at sunset. Highly recommend if you're in Ely!

Winter in Wyoming is a very special time - there are elk EVERYWHERE! It's incredible, and the opportunities for wildlife photography are frequent. I was lucky enough to live in Jackson, and when driving, you would encounter these huge open spaces simply filled with a herd of elk. Really special!

My mom and I drove this road when we lived in Jackson, and were SO hopeful we'd get to see the bears. No such luck, but it's a beautiful drive. Hope to go back and have better luck!

This is a wonderful way to see the majestic Wyoming landscape. You'll have far-reaching views of the Grand Teton mountain range, and sunset here is spectacular. Lots of opportunity for spotting wildlife too!

This location is absolutely enchanting! Standing, overlooking the sea, eating gelato may be one of my favorite memories of travelling Italy!

I was lucky enough to do a cruise to these wonderful Greek islands, and I'm telling you this is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Can't recommend this island enough!!

This is a great way to see the park, but note that there are two different entrances (east and west)! My mom and I paired this with a trip to Under Canvas and a trip to Chiricahua National Monument. Great way to see this National Park!

Capri is one of my favorite places on Earth! The boatride around the island was so beautiful, made all the more special because of drinking our weight in limoncello before hand :) If you're lucky, they'll let you jump in for a quick swim! We were able to also see the Blue Lagoon (or grotto), which was spectacular. Because of the waves that day, we had to lay back in the little boat as they paddled us in - such a fun experience!

This cave is humongous and stunning - but make sure you have grippy shoes, because those wet rocks are incredibly slick (I saw two people slide). Easy way to turn an ankle. For the hike, it's a ton of boulder/rock hopping, but is a blast. If you have the time, I highly recommend hiking the trail to the cave, and not doing the paved/stair entrance to the cave. The trail is much more fun!

If you love camping, you'll love camping on the rim! With dispersed and reservation sites available, you can't go wrong with your location. And if you're going in summer, it's even better because the rim is easily 20+ degrees cooler than the Valley. Weekends can be busy, so I'd recommend going up mid week (to ensure you get a site). And make sure to practice LNT principals!

This is an easy hike, and the views are amazing! A pretty decent decline at first, but then it's super flat. Such a unique environment - I swear, you feel like you're on another planet! This was my husbands favorite hike of our visit to Petrified Forest National Park.

My husband and I walked this short trail while visiting the national park - it was a great way to get up close with the petrified wood! Make sure to stop at the visitor center too (when you enter the park), great place to learn more.

I was able to visit this refuge while I lived in Jackson Hole. Such an amazing experience - the sound the elk make when they call to each other is other-worldly. Wonderful experience for families - it's something I'll never forget!
