A gorgeous and breathtaking hike (literally). Coming from sea level and hiking the 22 miles in a day, the last 200 feet of hiking got to me. Still though, the amazing views and sense of accomplishment was magical. Highly recommend!

This beach is more pebbly than sandy, but is dog-friendly and has free parking. Come early to avoid crowds.

There are a ton of nearby campgrounds. I recommend camping here and then waking up early for a soak. You're more likely to have the hot spring to yourself!

Hiked White Mountain this past weekend. Windy and beautiful. The entire 14 miles is on a jeep trail with very little scree making it an easier 14er. I started at 8:15 and made it back by 4:00pm with about 30 mins at the top. I also saw several mountain bikers doing this!

Great spot to walk the dog on a weekend morning. Great even on a cool, foggy day. Great bird watching. I've also seen rabbits, dolphins and lots of seals.

A section of this trail is an off-leash dog area. One of the few nearby! Be advised there are zero trash cans or water at the trailhead for your pup.
