Kicking Off the Semester: Camping in Big Bear, California

I took a trip to Big Bear Lake with some new friends, and was blown away by the beauty that California is capable of. This is my photo journal of that trip.

A few weeks ago, I went one a one-night camping trip to Big Bear with some new friends. We decided we wanted to see what Southern California has to offer, and were astonished that such a beautiful place was only a few hours outside of LA. The 5 of us slept in a 4 person tent and were perpetually afraid of bear sightings (it's called Big Bear, after all), and got up at the crack of dawn to witness the legendary sunrise on Big Bear Lake.

I'm better at conveying a story with images rather than words, so I'll leave it there. Here are some of my favorite photos from the weekend. Stay frosty.
